BESKRYWING

Biox 5000 is 'n vloeibare, gestabiliseerde Chloordioksied (ClO2). Dit is 'n breë spektrum biosied wat bacteriedodend, swamdodend, spoordodend, virusdodend en algadodend is.

Alhoewel die word "chloor" in die naam Chloordioksied voorkom, skadelike chloor het geen betrokkenheid by enige van die omgewingsvriendelike Choordioksied reaksierigtings nie. Chloordioksied en natrium chloriet (voorafgaande) is alleenlik oksidante, soos ander suiwer oksidante waar oksidasie plaasvind, nie halogenering nie.Chloordioksied is 'n suiwer opgeloste gas in ontbindinging.

Choordioxide word wêreldwyd gebruik as die biocide van keuse in brouerye, melkerye, pluimvee en visverwerkingsaanlegte, slagpale, koeltorings, afvalwater behandeling ens.

Chloordioksied is omgewingsvriendelik en laat geen oorblyfsel op produkte of oppervlaktes nie.

Biox 5000 conforms to SABS 1853 “disinfectants and detergent disinfectants for use in the food industry”.  Reg No:  Act 5GNR529/271983/070/0083 and is Eurep Gap Compliant – Cologne 19 January 2007.
Biox 5000 voldoen aan SABS 1853 wat deel met ontsmettingsmiddels en suiwerende ontsmettingsmiddels vir gebruik in die voedsel bedryf. Dit is Reg. Nr. Wet 5GNR529/271983/070/0083 en is Eurep Gap inskiklik - Cologne 19 Januarie 2007.

Biox 5000 Broad Spectrum Biocide

DESCRIPTION

Biox 5000 is a liquid, stabilised Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2).  It is a broad spectrum biocide which is bactericidal, fungicidal, sporicidal, viricidal and algaecidal.

Although “chlorine” appears  in the name chlorine dioxide, harmful chlorine is not involved in any of the environmentally friendly Chlorine Dioxide reaction pathways.  Chlorine Dioxide and Sodium Chlorite (precursor) are strictly oxidants, like other pure oxidants where oxidation occurs, not halogenation.

Chlorine Dioxide is a true dissolved gas in solution.
